Each player home has a unique task that you have to complete to earn it, ranging from buying it with Caps to receiving the home as a quest reward. Here's every player home in New Vegas and what you need to know about them.
What Can You Do With Player Homes In Fallout New Vegas?
Player homes are common in RPGs, and they are useful for a variety of reasons. You can sleep in them, which will provide a temporary XP bonus, and you can also store items within containers in the home.
Without a player home, you won't have anywhere to store gear you aren't using, which means you may have to get rid of items that you might find useful later in your playthrough, so having a home with storage space is very important. Additionally, some player homes have extra amenities that are unique to a single location.
How To Gain Ownership Of Every Player Home In Fallout Las Vegas
There are many player homes to earn throughout New Vegas and its DLC; however, not all of them have amenities like storage space. Below you can find a description of each player home and how to gain their ownership.
Dino Dee-Lite Motel Room
The Dino Dee-Lite motel room is a player home in Novac that you can purchase from Jeannie May Crawford for 100 Caps. Alternatively, you receive this room as a reward if you reach the Accepted rank with the town of Novac.
There's a bed inside of this motel room and multiple storage containers that are a safe place to store items.
Bon Vivant Suite
If you win 11250 Chips in the Ultra-Luxe Casino, then you can receive the Bon Vivant Suite as a reward. The suite comes with a bed and storage containers.
The containers inside the Bon Vivant Suite don't respawn, so you can store items inside them. However, the containers are "owned," which means that taking items out of them is stealing. You can also drink from the Sink without worrying about radiation.
The Tops Presidential Suite
You can gain ownership of the Presidential Suite through Benny during the "Ring-A-Ding-Ding!" quest.
There's a bed inside this suite, and you can also store items inside the containers, so it's a nice player home if you enjoy the style of the room layout.
High-Roller Suite In The Tops
You acquire the High-Roller Suite after you earn 7500 Chips in The Tops Casino.
Complete with a bedroom and a bathroom, the High-Roller Suite inside The Tops Casino is one of the fanciest player homes in New Vegas. There's a bed for you to sleep in within the suite, and there are containers in the room for storage space.
The Lucky 38 Presidential Suite
You obtain the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite by killing Mr. House or following his instructions during the main questline. Regardless, you gain access to this player home early in the main story. You can also purchase upgrades for the suite from the terminal inside the home.

The Lucky 38 Presidential Suite is the best player home in the base game of New Vegas. Not only does this suite grant you a bed and lots of storage space, but you can also send your companions to this location when you dismiss them from following you. This feature is very useful since it makes finding each companion much easier.
Followers Of The Apocalypse Safehouse
The Followers Safehouse is a home that you earn for reaching "Idolized" status with the Followers Of The Apocalypse faction. Julia Farkas will then give you the key to the safehouse, and you can use it for storing items.
Only the lockers are safe to store items in, so don't put anything you want to keep into the fridge. There's a bed inside the Followers Safehouse for sleeping. Doctor Luria visits the Followers Safehouse every couple of days, and she can provide you with stimpacks or anti-radiation items.
The NCR Ranger Safehouse
The NCR offers you a safehouse if you reach the "Liked" status or higher in their faction. Then, you need to speak with Colonel James Hsu to obtain the key to the NCR Ranger Safehouse.

Inside The safehouse, you gain access to a bed. However, the containers aren't safe for storing items. There's a lot of gear inside of this safehouse, including weapons, armor, and ammo.
The Brotherhood Of Steel Safehouse
The Brotherhood Of Steel Safehouse is a great location to store items or sleep in a bed. You can access this safehouse once you complete the "Still In The Dark" quest.
Paladin Sato is occasionally inside The Brotherhood Of Steel Safehouse, and he can repair your gear. A Workbench, Reloading Bench, and Sink are all amenities of The Brotherhood Of Steel Safehouse.
Caesar's Legion Safehouse
Caesar's Legion is another faction that grants you access to a safehouse with a bed and storage space. You receive the safehouse key from Lucius once you reach the "Liked" status or higher with Caesar's Legion.
You can find Legion armor inside of this player home which is another reward for gaining access to the Caesar's Legion Safehouse. There are also a few Stealth Boys and skill magazines inside the house.
The Sink
The Sink is the most expansive player home in New Vegas and its expansion packs. You gain access to The Sink by starting the Old World Blues DLC questline.
You can install many different upgrades found through the Big Empty inside The Sink and purchase items from the Sink Central Intelligence Unit. There are many safe storage containers in The Sink, and you can also sleep in the bed.
