In the time of togetherness, the pair gave birth to two children Hanna Schwiesow, and a son, Karl Schwiesow. However, all their adventure came to an end as Doug suffered untimely death due to disease.

Of two children Karl is the eldest and is an artist who creates and sells artworks and Hanna is a Yoga instructor.
